Holy Communion

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. As a sacrifice, it makes present Jesus Christ's Body of Christ sacrifice on the cross at Calvary for the salvation of many. As a presence, it is Jesus himself, body and blood, under the appearance of bread and wine. And as food, it is the nourishment of our souls by which we share in God’s own life. And as viaticum, accompanies us on our pilgrim journey to heaven.
